This Junior Miner Was Able To Raise Capital In A Difficult Market

Recent drilling at Corvus Gold's (KOR.TO or CORVF) North Bullfrong is the best to date with some very interesting drill holes. Corvus also intercepted significant high grade silver on the property. This project is becoming a significant discovery. Corvus is looking to develop this project in stages. The company is looking to bring this to production by 2014. Drilling will be accelerated in September 2012. The asset is very attractive as it has a low cost of about $28 million to get into production. The North Bullfrog Project is a very important project for Beatty, Nevada which is experiencing high unemployment. There is a lot of local support for this deposit to come into production.

Corvus has a great shareholder base and is in a positive financial situation with their recent financing. The company has been outperforming year to date, doubling from $.50 to a $1, outperforming other gold miners, the S&P500 and bonds by an exponential margin.

The summertime in Alaska is when Corvus' joint venture partners are hard at work. The company is hoping to see some interesting results coming from exploration work. The company is also beginning to explore a new property up in Quebec.

The company was able to raise money in a difficult market. Insiders participated showing their faith in their assets. Key shareholders like Anglogold Ashanti and Toqueville Funds also participated. These insiders know management will work hard to build shareholder value.
